How did we get to the top of the catering ladder with a list of clients that includes some of the most discerning palates in the South? It started way back in 1974 when we set up our family catering business from a converted village bakery in Sussex. It was a natural move for us as we both come from families of bakers. When we made the journey to Bournemouth in 1990, word soon got round about the quality and reliability of our service - always backed up with happy, smiling faces! In selecting a winner for 2009 Catering Services Award, the Judges at Business & Leisure were particularly impressed with the truly customer-focused service provided by Charmans Catering, a forward thinking company that has achieved an enviable reputation not only for meeting but, in many cases, exceeding the client's expectations when it comes to providing a quality service for the best possible price. Therefore, it comes as no surprise to learn that Charmans Catering has been selected to receive the prestigious BA AWARD FOR CATERING SERVICES FOR 2009.
When asked for his comments on receiving this award Daniel Goncalves, owner of the company said:
Our company is a family business, and we take it personal, that is why we treat our customers the way we want to be treated, our products are handmade and that demands passion and not a machine, our prices are unbeatable, because we believe in value.
